Environmental vision - Gelders nature network

The province protects the Gelders Natuurnetwerk (GNN), a coherent network of existing and to be developed nature of international, national and provincial importance. This Gelders Nature Network consists of all areas with a nature destination within the former EHS and also contains a search area of 7,300 ha for the 5,300 ha of new nature to be realized. The update plan was adopted by the Provincial Council on 19 December 2018.
