Description
Vegetation database (built from planes) of coastal areas (marshlands, green beaches and dunes), collected on the basis of aerial photographs 1:5,000 or 1:10,000 and fieldwork. Recovery per area takes place in a cycle of 6 years. The database contains derived information that, in addition to the vegetation zoning map, can also be used to create a vegetation structure map and a red list map. A translation table from Salttype to relevant derivatives is available via Rijkswaterstaat's service desk data. The database is composed of vegetation mappings that have been collected based on classification according to Salt97 and Salt08. Up to and including 2007, vegetation mappings were collected on the basis of Salt97. In these mappings, local vegetation types were distinguished per area. With the advent of Salt08, the typology has been harmonized. Mappings up to and including 2007 have been translated into the Salt08 typology.
