WMO clients; type of customised facility, personal characteristics, region
Description
This table shows the number of clients with a tailor-made service in the context of the Social Support Act (Wmo). The figures are available per municipality and can be broken down by type of provision, age, household income, origin and gender.
This table has been compiled on the basis of data that municipalities have provided to CBS in the context of the Municipal Social Domain Monitor.
This table has moved on to a new classification of the population by origin. From now on, it is more decisive where someone was born, in addition to where someone's parents were born. The main classification Western/non-Western is replaced by a classification based on born in or outside the Netherlands. It is also recorded whether parents were born inside or outside the Netherlands, if the person was born in the Netherlands.
Data available from: 2023. Figures for 2019 to 2022 will be made available retroactively in accordance with the new classification.
This table is the successor of the table 'Wmo clients; type of customised facility, personal characteristics, region, 2019-2023’ (see paragraph 3). The new origin classification has been implemented and the method to determine the age of a Wmo client has changed.
These changes result in an average reduction in the number of clients at national level of 0.03 percent based on the preliminary annual figures for 2023. In the half-year period, the difference is -0.03 percent in the first half-year and +0.04 percent in the second half of 2023, respectively. Due to the changes, the figures relating to origin and age are less comparable with the previous table.

Status of figures:
The figures for the first half of 2023 are further provisional, the other figures for 2023 are provisional.
The national figure for the first half of 2023 of Residence and Reception is a sum of all municipalities, because this category is completely provided by central municipalities.

Final figures for 2023 will be published in December 2024.
