Population grid data 5 km x 5 km

Description

Includes population by 5 km x 5 km squares. The number of population shall be reported on the last day of the reference year (31 December) by age group. The data contains only inhabited squares. The statistical variables of the data are: total population (resistance), number of men (men) and women (women), under 15-year-olds (ika_0_14), 15-64-year-olds (ika_15_64) and persons aged 65 or over (ika_65_). For squares with less than 10 inhabitants, only the population is reported. Other variables get a value of -1. The box identifier is indicated by the National Identification Identification Identification Identifier (id_num) derived from the coordinates and the INSPIRE Standard Identification Identification Identifier (grd_id (char)). The data also contains the coordinates of the lower left corner of the screen (xkoord, ykoord (num)). The data describes the population by square regardless of the administrative divisions (e.g. municipal borders). The data is suitable for examining the population distribution and carrying out various regional analyses.
