Map of the surroundings of Coblentz 1830 (HKBK)
The ‘Karte der Umgebungen v. Coblenz’, designed and drawn by Johann Becker in 1830, is a single-colour map on a scale of 1: 86 400. Drawings of forty historically significant architectural monuments are depicted around the oval map.
The section is bounded by Lake Laach and the Andernach Gate in the west, the Rhine loop near Boppard in the south and the highest elevation, the Montabaurer Höhe, in the east.
The faithful reproduction of this map is provided only in conjunction with a 48-page brochure containing explanations of the map and monuments.
