Habitats of the belly diaper snail (status: 2018)
Description
As part of the processing of management plans for Natura 2000 sites (MaP), a delimitation of potential habitats (suitable areas), the recording of species according to Annex II of the Habitats Directive usually on sample areas and an assessment of the conservation status of the populated habitats are carried out.
The mapping and evaluation process is described in the Technical Guide to Management Planning in Natura 2000 Sites (LU 2010) (Work step 8 with reference to the relevant annexes). The potential (suitable) and populated habitats are defined and documented as contiguous (sub-)areas. For each populated (positive proof) sub-area, an assessment of the conservation status is carried out (evaluation rules see annexes in the technical guide, LU 2010). The assessment is generally based on the criteria of ‘habitat quality’ and ‘impairments’ (see the respective tender specifications). The presence / absence certificates are entered in parallel in the database DBMonArt. There is no assessment for unpopulated and unstudied suitability areas.
The corresponding data from the MaPs already confirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Consumer Protection M-V have been aggregated in this shapefile.
The errors detected during the work with this spatial data stock have been and will be continuously corrected.
