Plump-prone area

Description

The Explosive Sensitive Areas map is a specific part of the Explosive Remnants of War map. Explosive remnants of war may still be present in the explosive-prone areas, which are sensitive to vibrations caused by loosening the ground. This detachment of the soil with atmospheric pressure, the so-called ‘plopping’ of the soil, is often necessary in green areas and parks. The map is based on the extensive historical research used for the map of explosive remnants of war and involves further analysis of the data.
