Employment participation; changes in working position per quarter and year, 2003-2022
Description
This table contains figures on changes in employment positions of persons aged 15 to 75 in the Netherlands, with the exception of persons in establishments, institutions and homes (institutional population). Each quarter and per year, the employment position is given at that time and the employment position is given a quarterly and a year earlier respectively. Three employment positions are distinguished; employed labour force, unemployed labour force and non-working population. In addition, within the working workforce is specialised by position in the employment circle. For example, how many people with a flexible employment relationship have been switched to a permanent employment relationship. The table shows both numbers and percentages.
Due to changes in the EBB’s research design and questionnaire, a revision of the standing figures for the 2021 reporting year was implemented in the first quarter of 2022. In August 2022, the figures on changes in the labour market were also revised on the basis of the EEW.
The figures from 2021 onwards are not necessarily comparable to the figures up to and including 2020. Nor can figures for the first quarter of 2021 be calculated for the time being.
New figures will be published in November for the period 2013 to the first quarter of 2021. These figures based on the old EEW have been recalculated to align with the results from 2021 onwards.
