Description
Observations of otters in habitats. Otters do not have a permanent residence but move around in their habitat with various natural resting places. They cover large distances of up to twenty kilometers in one night. The area is marked with ‘spraints’. Because otters lead a solitary existence, these spraints are the main means of communication for conspecifics. These traces are recorded for observation.
