Description
Water content (in vol.-% or mm of water column) bound in pores with equivalent diameter < 50 µm or at a defined suction voltage of pF > 1.8.
The information refers to one metre of profile power. For soils where skeletons or solid rocks are at a lower depth, the data refer to the thickness of the soluum.
Classification:
very low – < 21 vol.- %
low – 21 to < 30 % by volume
average – 30 to < 39 % by volume
high – 39 to < 48 % by volume
very high – > = 48 vol.- %
