Institutional investors; investments in property 1980-2012
Description
This table covers investments of institutional investors in property. It shows that institutional investors nowadays invest more indirectly in property by taking interests in investment funds that invest in property. Furthermore it allows analyses whether there is more or less invested in different types of direct property such as residential buildings or the combination of offices and shops.
Data available from:
Yearly figures from 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995 and 1999 to 2012.
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are up to 2010 definitive, figures for 2011 are revised provisional figures and figures for 2012 are provisional. Because this table is discontinued, figures will not be updated anymore.
