Description
This file contains quiet areas in Groningen. Silence is a key characteristic of our province. We have identified three quiet areas: the Lauwersmeer, the Wadden Sea and parts of the shore of the Schildmeer. In addition, we have identified two areas of focus for silence and darkness, where we are taking additional stimulus measures. These focus areas are located in the municipality of Vlagtwedde (in particular in Westerwolde) and in the municipality of Winsum to the west of the Groningen-Winsum provincial road.
