Water Boards Artworks IMWA
Description
This dataset is based on (non-harmonised) data from all water boards in the Netherlands in accordance with the Water Information Model (IMWA). The dataset contains the following IMWA objects:
- Closing agent
- Aqueduct
- Soil fall
- Bridge
- Coupure
- Drainage Tube
- DrainagePut
- Diver
- Pumping station
- Hill
- Put
- Siphon
- Lock
- Weir
- VasteDam
- Fish passage
- Voorde
- Dirt trap
- Sand trap
The data is structured according to the Water Information Model (IMWA), part of the Aquo standard. More information can be found on the Aquo website. The data is provided in Geopackage format in the RD-New coordinate system.
The data come from the individual water boards, but are delivered as one nationwide file via PDOK. Individual water boards provide their up-to-date data for this via Het Waterschapshuis’s ‘Data node for water boards’ (GkW). All water boards are connected to this facility, but not every water board provides the complete set of data.
For information about the content of the data, please contact the relevant water board. This can be recognized by the water board code that is included as a characteristic for each object in the dataset.
