Reporting Water Framework Directive 2010: Monitoring sites for groundwater bodies per WFD basin

Description

Detailed item-by-item information on surface water monitoring sites, France as a whole. For each basin, the monitoring sites are described by elements according to the following simplified themes: -overview, -description of sites, -coding of sites, -links with water bodies, -links with monitoring programmes, -links with international networks, -links with protected areas. A file is available for each DCE pool. All the elements and the rules for filling the fields are explained in the xsd GroundWaterMonitoringStations_3p0.xsd file accessible for download by the link to the associated xsd file. Directive 2000/60/EC, known as the Water Framework Directive (WFD), establishes a framework for Community action in the field of water policy. It provides for several stages of implementation, each giving rise to a report: the report carried out in March 2010 relates to management plans, and incorporates the data from previous reports.
