Construction; turnover development, index 2021=100
Description
This table contains figures on the development of turnover in the construction sector. The development is presented as a percentage change compared to the same period in the previous year and by means of indices with the base year 2021 as the base year. The data can be broken down by company size and branches according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008).
Data available from January 2005.
Status of figures:
The figures for January, February, March and April 2024 are provisional and the remaining periods are final.
Changes as of 14 June 2024:
The figures for April 2024 have been added, the figures for January, February and March 2024 have been adjusted if necessary.
When will there be new figures?
As a rule, CBS publishes the preliminary results within six to eight weeks after the end of the reporting month. Up to 75 days after the end of a quarter, the provisional figures may change due to fulfilled information from respondents. Thereafter, the figures shall not change until the last fulfilled information is processed, at the latest five months after the end of the year. After that, all reporting months of that year are 'definitive'. Until then, the status 'provisionally' is maintained for the results.
After publication of final results, CBS will only adjust the results if major adjustments and/or corrections are necessary.
