Modal data and thermal conductivity (display service)
Description
Display service for Modal data and thermal conductivity (open data) data set.
The Modal Data and Thermal Conduction Number display service shows observed mineral composition from samples and calculated for different rocks. The thermal conductivity figure has been calculated for each sample as a weighted geometric mean based on data on the volume shares of the individual minerals and their thermal conductivity figures.
The information can be used for general planning of geothermal energy installations.
