Description
The theme shows fishing with non-bottom contacting gear within Natura 2000 areas. Fishing with non-bottom contacting gears has been calculated for nets in the period 2013-2018. The fishing is shown on the map with AIS data. AIS data is displayed at varying frequencies down to every two seconds. The points shown are for a given speed of the vessel at which it is assumed the fishing can take place.
