Description
This table contains figures on the adjusted and uncorrected pay gap between men and women of workers residing in the Netherlands with a (main) job of four hours or more per month and an age of 15 to the AOW pension age. Jobs of pupils and students and jobs of trainees and jobs in social employment do not count. This is the last Friday of September. For the determination of the number of jobs and the calculation of hourly wages and wage differences, a research database has been compiled based on the job information from the System of Social Statistical Files (SSB) and one year of the Occupational Population Survey (EBB). The research population is divided into jobs in government and jobs in business. These two subpopulations have been studied separately. The figures are from the biennial survey Monitor Wage Differences for Men and Women. See sections 3 and 4 for more information on this study.
