Residential dwellings; new and existing, price index 2015=100 2015-2023
Description
This table shows the price development of dwellings purchased by households broken down into new and existing owner-occupied dwellings. The number of transactions, the average selling price and the total sum of the selling prices of the homes sold are also published.

Status of figures:
The figures associated with the Price Index Existing Homes for Sale are final.
The figures relating to the Price Index New Build Homes and to the numbers and average sales prices relating to the new build and the total figures are provisional. Since the table has been discontinued, the data are no longer definitive.
Changes as of 6 October 2022:
This statistic shall be calculated on the basis of a European harmonised methodology. Within the European directives, the method for rounding figures has changed. This method change has been implemented with the result that some figures have been adjusted by a maximum of 0.1 index point or 0.1% development. The figures therefore correspond to the figures on the eurostat website.
