Description
This table shows annual figures on gross hourly wages and numbers of employees aged 15 to 75 (excluding the institutional population). The data in the table are categorised on the basis of the profession (BRC 2014).

Changes as of 14 February 2024:
None, this is a new table. This table is compiled on the basis of the Occupational Population Survey (EBB) and the Police Administration. Due to changes in the EBB’s research design and questionnaire, the figures from 2021 onwards are not necessarily comparable to the figures until 2020. The key figures in this table have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the Labour Participation table, seasonally adjusted key figures (see paragraph 4), recalculating the results for the period 2013-2020 in order to align with the results from 2021 onwards. In further detailing the results by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new methodology.
When will there be new figures?
The 2023 preliminary figures will be published in July 2024.
