Freiburg i. Br. — Photovoltaic Potential Roof 2022 (LUBW)

Description

The data are from the Baden-Württemberg State Agency for the Environment (LUBW) and show which roof areas in Freiburg are suitable for photovoltaics. The location analysis and potential calculations were carried out on the basis of laser scan data. The potential analysis takes into account inclination, alignment, shading and solar irradiation. A digital surface model was created to calculate these factors. To localise the buildings, the building outlines/circulations from the 2012 Automated Property Map were used. The building outlines indicate the exterior walls of the house. Roof overhangs are not taken into account in this.
