Description
Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): FFH habitat types with overall assessment, Status Protected Area Regulation (VO) in designated Natura2000 sites. Habitat types and related assessments that were part of the site identification.
The FFH-LRT dataset covers the habitat types listed in Annex I to the Habitats Directive.
Annex I to the Habitats Directive (Directive 92/43/EEC) lists the natural and natural habitats of Community interest for which special protection areas must be designated.
According to the definition of the Habitats Directive, natural habitats of Community interest are those habitats which are either at risk of disappearance in the area of their natural occurrence, or which, as a result of their decline or as a result of their already limited occurrence, have a low natural distribution area or have typical characteristics of one or more of the five biogeographical regions.
