Description
Memento Wien, an online tool optimized for mobile devices (tablets and smartphones), provides information on the victims of the Nazi dictatorship in large parts of Vienna: Via the city map, this mobile website focuses on the last residential addresses of the murdered as well as a series of archive documents and photos of people and buildings in the city. Interested parties have the opportunity to explore the history of their surroundings interactively and to learn more about the fates of the persecuted. In particular, the disenfranchisement, expulsion and murder of Austrian Jews becomes virtually visible.
