Stock of dwellings and non-residential dwellings; mutations, use function, region
Description
This table contains data on the stock of dwellings and non-residential dwellings and their changes, such as new construction and demolition. The data comes from the Basic Register of Addresses and Buildings (BAG).
The non-residential buildings are broken down into different uses.
The data are further broken down by districts, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities.
From 2021, CBS has fully switched to the use of BAG 2.0. As a result of this transition, the new statuses 'renovation' and 'unjustified' for buildings and residential objects will become available in the BAG. Residential objects with the new status ‘renovation’ are included in the stock. This expansion has not led to a trend break in the stock and only has the consequence that the statuses in which a residence object is located can be distinguished.
Data available as of January 2012.
Status of figures:
The figures from 2012 to 2023 are final.
Figures from January to March 2024, and the first quarter of 2024 are further provisional.
Figures as of May 2024 are provisional.
Changes as of 28 June 2024:
The figures for 2023 have been finalised.
The figures from January to March 2024 and the first quarter of 2024 have been made more provisional.
Provisional figures for May 2024 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
The new figures are published approximately 1 month after the reporting month.
The final figures for 2024 will be published in May 2025.
