WMS photovoltaic roof surface (potential)
Description
As part of the “Energieatlas Baden-Württemberg”, the suitability of roof surfaces for photovoltaic systems was determined on the basis of laser scan data and the solar energy potential on roof surfaces (in kW) was calculated nationwide for the whole of Baden-Württemberg. The potential analysis takes into account location factors such as inclination, alignment, shading and solar irradiation. A digital surface model was created to calculate these factors.
