DNFCS 2019-2021:Habitual intake of nutrients from foods only

Description

The Food Consumption Survey maps out what the Netherlands eats and drinks. The food consumption data provide insight into the consumption of food, the intake of macro- and micronutrients, the intake of potentially harmful chemicals and their developments (trends). The figures in this table are taken from the Food Consumption Survey (FCP) 2019-2021 of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). This table contains data on the usual daily nutrient intake of people aged 1 to 80 years. The data are disaggregated by gender and age and also for different population groups. Not all breakdowns are available, then empty lines are shown. The available breakdowns are: Totale bevolking Leeftijd in 2 groepen Geslacht in 2 groepen Leeftijd en geslacht in 4 groepen Leeftijd en geslacht in 12 groepen Opleiding Opleiding naar geslacht Opleiding naar leeftijd in 2 groepen Opleiding naar leeftijd en geslacht in 4 groepen Regio Regio naar geslacht Regio naar leeftijd in 2 groepen Regio naar leeftijd en geslacht in 4 groepen Urbanisatie Urbanisatie naar geslacht Urbanisatie naar leeftijd in 2 groepen Urbanisatie naar leeftijd en geslacht in 4 groepen BMI BMI naar geslacht BMI naar leeftijd in 2 groepen BMI naar leeftijd en geslacht in 4 groepen In addition, the age groups for alcohol intake are based on 12 to 80 year olds. There are 2 tables available on statline on the intake of macro- and micronutrients. The difference between these two tables is that one table shows the intake from foods and supplements and the other table shows the intake only from foods. It can also be noted that only the relevant nutrients are shown in the table in which supplements are included. That is to say: only those nutrients to which supplements have contributed are displayed. These are the following nutrients: Fish Fatty Acids (EPA and DHA), Calcium, Copper, Iron, Non-Haem Iron, Magnesium, Selenium, Zinc, Retinol, Retinol Activity Equivalents, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Folate Equivalents, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Iodine. The nutritional data were collected among approximately 3,500 children and adults with two 24-hour nutritional questions. More information on the study can be found on the website www.wateetnederland.nl (see also the publications on this website). A number of tables with information are included on Statline.
