Winter maintenance class

Description

The winter maintenance category is defined taking into account the amount of traffic on the road (KVL), the amount of heavy traffic (KVLrask) and the number of combination vehicles (KVLyhd), as well as the functional category. When choosing the treatment class Ib / Ic, it should be taken into account whether the road is permanent or light-covered, as well as the climate. There are instructions for determining the treatment category in the winter maintenance policies. The aim is to achieve a uniform treatment classification in which the treatment class does not change too frequently. The treatment class of ramps is determined by the main road, except in the treatment class Ise, where the treatment class of the ramp is mainly Is.
