Description

The waste disposal facilities of the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) are facilities open to individuals and professionals. They allow the disposal of specific and large waste that is not taken care of in the collection of household waste: e.g. furniture, waste electrical and electronic equipment, rubble, or specific diffuse waste... for more information, see [page dedicated to mobile waste disposal on the MEL website] (https://www.lillemetropole.fr/decheteries-mobiles). This dataset presents the locations of the MEL's mobile waste disposal facilities with: * their opening hours, * their addresses officially recognised by the administration (in BAN format), * a specific field indicates whether the waste disposal facility is in operation or temporarily closed. ### Background In addition to its fixed waste disposal facilities, the MEL offers a mobile waste disposal service, installed in the municipalities furthest from them. There were 27 such crossings in 26 municipalities in 2022, with more than 81,000 crossings. ### Method This dataset evolves little. The most modified field is that of schedules that can be adapted during particular periods (seasonalities, works, ...).
