Road characteristics database-WKD/Parking points
Description
The Road Characteristics Database is a collection of databases each with a relevant road attribute
this can be linked to the national road stock (NWB). These can be road characteristics
include, for example, the maximum speed, the width of the road or the presence of entry. There is a separate file for each of these road features.
In this road characteristics database, the parking points are displayed on roads with a
maximum speed of 70, 80, 90 or 100 km/h and all roads under the management of the empire.
Mapping the parking points is important for road safety.
It concerns
the parking options along a road on roads with the somewhat higher speed limits.
Often
are these points where you can stand temporarily by car due to a calamity or breakdown or
where can be parked.
When parking, braking movements are required and when it is again
the speed differences are large in traffic.
