The mean clay content was calculated up to 4 dm depth. A classification was carried out in which areas with clay content > 0 and < 17 % are classified as “low clay content”, areas with clay content >= 17 % and < 25 % as “medium clay content” and areas >=25 % as “high clay content”. “not evaluated” are all mapped areas on which there is no information on the clay content.
