Young people with youth care and youth care pathways in kind; districts, 2023
Description
This table provides figures on the number of young people who received youth care in kind (youth support in kind, youth protection and/or youth probation) in 2023 and the number of pathways in which this youth care was provided in kind. The data on young people are broken down by age and household composition on 1 January of the year in question. The youth care trajectories in kind are divided by referrer. The data is also broken down by municipality and district.
The classification by municipality and district is based on the address according to the principle of residence youth. If the address has changed during the reporting period, the young person is assigned the most recent address in this table.
The addition of the number of young people across multiple forms of youth care within a (sub)total can be greater than the (sub)total itself. A young person can have multiple trajectories with different forms of youth care, but with each form of care or (sub)total, a young person only counts once.
For some young people, only the municipality according to the residence principle is known, but not the specific address. In these cases, the young person is included in the total for the municipality, but not in one of the underlying districts. As a result, it is possible that the figures of the districts within a municipality do not add up to the total of the municipality.
Data available for 2023
Figures by municipality and district will appear in a new table every year. Figures for other years since 2015 can be found via the link 'Tables Youth Care' in paragraph 3.
Section 4 provides more information on matters affecting the comparability over time of the figures in this table.
Status of figures:
Figures for the second half of 2023 and the whole of 2023 are provisional. The figures for the first half of 2023 are further provisional.
Changes as of 30 April 2024:
- Provisional figures for the second half of 2023 and the whole of 2023 have been added.
- The provisional figures for the first half of 2023 have been replaced by further provisional figures.
When will there be new figures?
The (further) provisional figures for 2023 will be replaced by final figures at the end of October 2024.
