Forest Functions of the State of Brandenburg: Forest fire protection strips

Description

Forest fire protection strips are usually 15 to 25 m wide, forest-stocked strips associated with a wound strip. Preferably, they are located on traffic routes. They are used for the direct protection of sources of danger, including against spring fires and ground fires.
