Description

An ecotope map was made from the Westerschelde in 2022. A salty ecotope map is built up by merging multiple layers of information from the intertidal area: bottom height map (height and depth), geomorphological map, drying time card, flow map and salt map. The flow rates are calculated with Simona using the SCALWEST2000 model, a curved grid.
