Vo and vso; flow and outflow, background characteristics
Description
This table contains data on the throughflow and outflow of pupils in funded secondary education (vo) and secondary special education (vso) by educational position in the basic year, position in the next school year, country of birth (parents), country of origin and regional characteristics of the municipality of residence.
CBS is moving to a new classification of the population by origin. From now on, it is more decisive where someone was born, in addition to where someone's parents were born. The word "migration background" is no longer used. The main classification Western/non-Western is replaced by a classification based on continents and common immigration countries. This classification is gradually introduced in tables and publications with population by origin.
Data available from: 2010/'11.
Status of figures:
Figures for the most recent period are provisional. These figures become final when the next period is published.
Changes as of 19 April 2024:
The final figures on the transition from school year 2021/'22 to 2022/'23 and the provisional figures on the transition from school year 2022/'23 to 2023/'24 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
The final figures on the transition from school year 2022/'23 to 2023/'24 and the provisional figures on the transition from school year 2023/'24 to 2024/'25 will become available in the third quarter of 2025.
