Deceased by cause of death; gender, age, region, 1996-2021
Description
This table shows the number of deaths by age and sex for municipalities, GGDs and the Netherlands in total over the period 1996-2021 (absolutely and per 10,000 inhabitants). At the GGD and national level, in addition to the total number of deaths, a distinction has also been made between some main groups of causes of death. For all years, the 2022 regional breakdown has been used. The figures in this table are taken from the Causes of Death statistics of the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
