Average annual flow rate and flow variability (HAD)

Description

Map 3.9 shows the mean annual flows (MQ) of selected flowing waters in a Tape representation, where the bands form defined units of measurement for the flow of water in the water sections. This representation creates differences clearly expressed in the water supply. The color filling of the flow-through ussbands describes the regional variability of the flow through us. The flow rate of uss variability is for this map representation calculated as a quotient from the middle highest and medium lowest flow rate uss (MHQ/MNQ). All the thematically significant penetration points of uss measurement are represented by level signatures. The main values of the 15 identified by name Levels are listed in Table 2. In addition, the ratio of extreme values appears here. from the quotient of the highest and lowest flow ever observed (HHQ/NNQ) This is numerically higher — in some cases more than an order of magnitude — than the ratio of the average highest and lowest flow shown in the atlas map nuts. Along the North Sea coast, the tide-influenced areas are depicted flatly. In some flowing waters — especially in the large streams — are the tide boundary by Wards and barriers artificially fixed and moved towards the sea side.
