Maritime transport; transhipped weight, seaport, transport flow, type of cargo
Description
This table provides data on international maritime freight transport to and from the main Dutch seaports on a quarterly and annual basis.
The figures on the gross plus weight transhipped are broken down by Dutch seaport, transport flow and type of cargo.
The processing methodology of maritime statistics has been substantially changed with effect from 2020.
From the reporting year 2020, the weights in gross plus weight will be published. For the transport of goods in containers, this means that the weight of the goods themselves is also added to the weight of the containers.

When will there be new figures?
The new quarterly figures will be published within 6 months of the end of the reporting period. The new annual figures shall be published within 5 months of the end of the reporting period.
