Business confidence; enterprise size, industries (2008 SBI)
Description
The Business Confidence is a mood indicator of the Dutch business community. When assessing the results, it can be assumed that the more optimistic or pessimistic the entrepreneurs are, the more the value of the Business Confidence will deviate positively or negatively from the zero line.
The Business Confidence of the total Dutch business community is a weighted average of the confidence indicators of the underlying industries that together represent the Dutch business community. The uncertainty indicator indicates the degree of certainty of entrepreneurs about the economic environment. The figures can be broken down by region.
Industrial confidence is not the same as industrial confidence. These figures are available in the table on producer confidence.
This table has been developed in the context of the State of SMEs.
