Description
This table provides up-to-date information, including margins of uncertainty, on the opinions of Dutch entrepreneurs about the achievements, expectations and judgements regarding their business. With the help of this panel research, insight is gained into the current situation, the future development and the judgements of the Dutch business community. This makes it possible to identify changes in optimism or pessimism at an early stage, providing an early indication of a possible trend change in the economic activities of the Dutch business community. The data shall be broken down by business activities: sections, divisions and codes (SBI 2008). The questions submitted to entrepreneurs at the beginning of a quarter concern, among other things, production, turnover, prices, orders, stocks, investments, competitiveness, economic climate, staff size and the obstacles encountered by entrepreneurs. When answering the questions relating to developments in the past three months and to expectations for the next three months, entrepreneurs are asked to make a comparison with the preceding three-month period.

The published figures are final.
Amendment as of 27 June 2024:
Figures for June 2024 have been added.
Amendment as of 7 March 2024:
Due to a technical error, most of the results for February 2024 were a factor of 100 too small. This has now been corrected.
When will the new figures come?
The results for the month of July 2024 are expected to be published on 6 August 2024.
