Archive floor map (ST-BIS-55)
Description
The digital “archive floor map” shows soils of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, which fulfil the function as an archive of natural and cultural history above average and must be particularly protected according to § 1 BodSchAG LSA. 27 archival object types are distinguished (e.g., fossil soils, geotopes, extreme sites, rare soils, cultural soils, natural forest sites, experimental fields, soil duration observation areas). The data was collected on the basis of different sources and was sometimes carried out with expert support. Point- and area-shaped and generalised archive objects are identified. The soil monuments of the monument protection authority, which are currently available in the Saxony-Anhalt-Viewer, are to be considered.
ST-BIS 55 is part of ST-BIS 98.
