REDIAM. WMS Water chlorophyll-a concentration data in the lower Guadalquivir River (2009-2010)
Description
WMS service corresponding to the set of chlorophyll-a concentration images (mg/m3) of the water, covering the lower course of the Guadalquivir River, from the municipality of Alcolea del Río to its mouth. Data obtained from geometrically and atmospherically corrected images of the Landsat 5 satellite captured by the TM (Thematic Mapper) sensor during the period 2009 to 2010. Obtaining this parameter allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of biological activity, in addition to being used as an instrument for monitoring eutrophication processes. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
