Geoscientific Library of the Geological Service of North Rhine-Westphalia
Description
The library provides a large selection of scientific literature on the geology of North Rhine-Westphalia. The total holdings of the Library of the Geological Service of North Rhine-Westphalia (GD NRW) amount to more than 170,000 media units, including more than 14,000 maps. 1,280 journals, series and magazine-like series are in the library's holdings, almost 700 of which are continuously sourced. All titles are listed in the online catalogue OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue of the library network of the state authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia). With its maps and writings on the geology of North Rhine-Westphalia and adjacent areas as well as on the latest geoscientific research findings, the library of the GD NRW is a treasure trove for all those interested in geoscientific research. The library can be visited during opening hours. A loan is not possible, as it is a presence stock.
