Road noise Lden 2022 (EU mandatory)
Description
Digital nationwide database of the calculation result Lden (day, evening, night) 2022 according to the EU Environmental Noise Directive (2002/49/EC, 34. BImSchV). The calculation of the Lden level was based on the calculation method for ambient noise from ground-level sources (BUB), which transposes the CNOSSOS-EU calculation method, which is uniform throughout Europe, into national law. These levels are calculated at a height of 4 m above ground and in a grid of 10 x 10 m.
The relevant main road network with all-day, evening, night traffic, which is also available on this map server under the name ‘Straßen_2022’, serves as an acoustic source.
The display is in 5 dB classes according to legend.
The calculation results of the agglomerations of Hanover, Hildesheim, Braunschweig, Osnabrück, Oldenburg and Göttingen are not part of this data set, this also applies to the calculation results in the federal state of Bremen.
