Estimation of potential erosion hazard from wind - Basic grid Bremen (WMS Service)
Description
Identification of the potential risk of erosion by water in accordance with Section 16, Annex 4 of the CAP Conditionalities Regulation at grid level in the 12.5 m grid for the Federal State of Bremen.
The assessment of the potential wind hazard is based on DIN 19706 (Soil quality – Determination of the erosion hazard of soils by wind) at grid level in the 12.5 m grid by linking
- soil type and humus content of the topsoil (based on official soil estimation and soil overview map 1:50,000) as a characteristic of the erodability of the soil,
- wind speed and direction as a parameter for the erosivity of the climate; and
- the protective effect of wind obstructions.
A potential wind erosion hazard is determined for each grid cell.
