Average number of garbage parts 2017
Description
Data of beach waste monitoring on the Schleswig-Holstein Baltic Sea coast. The monitoring along the Fehmarn coast was organised by the NABU and carried out with the help of volunteers. The shown number of waste parts is based on the mean value of the recorded waste parts to 100 m transects in the given period. Up to 4 records shall be carried out per monitoring year, with the monitoring year covering the records from the beginning of December of the previous year until the end of November of that year. The collection of the beach waste is carried out according to the OSPAR Beach Litter Guideline (2010).
