Description

This table shows by municipality (2016 breakdown), country, province, COROP area, labour market region and municipality size class figures in the field of social affairs and employment. They provide information on the implementation of the Participation Act in 2016. This includes information on: — assistance (assist density, inflow and outflow assistance, outflow to work from assistance), — reintegration (outflow to work after reintegration, persons with social assistance and also a reintegration facility, persons with a reintegration facility and also a welfare allowance), — WSW employees. The regional breakdowns in this table are based on the town of residence of the person. The numbers of inhabitants per municipality, country, province and COROP area may differ slightly from figures published elsewhere on StatLine, as this table shows the population at the end of 2016, while elsewhere often the number of inhabitants is shown primo reporting year.Furthermore, assistance-related figures may differ from other tables by showing only general assistance. No reintegration figures of the municipalities of Haarlem and Zandvoort are available in 2016, because the reintegration in these municipalities was outsourced to external organisations. These organisations did not provide statistically useful figures to the municipalities. The municipalities will resume the reintegration themselves and will therefore be able to provide figures again in the long run. The disaggregated tables do not include persons whose municipality or age is unknown. These people are counted for the Netherlands total.
