Traffic axis system Stadt Zuerich

Description

In the form of linear references, the traffic axis system provides various data sets (so-called events) relating to the traffic axes. **Purpose**: The Transport Axis System is intended to act in various areas of the city administration as a uniform basis for traffic axis-related spatial data, which are of far interest. The system is to be supplemented with further events on an ongoing basis. The advantage of linear referencing lies in the separation of geometries and axis-related events. This separation enables the best possible up-to-dateness of the data, as the axis geometries are subject to the follow-up process of the official survey.
