Sick leave workers; industry, size of establishment (2014-2023)
Description
This table contains data on sick leave of employees aged 15 to 75, by sectors of activity (SBI 2008) and establishment size. This also includes employees who are employed but do not perform work due to illness, maternity leave or other temporary career breaks. Furthermore, the table also includes data on the last absenteeism of employees. This default case may have been more than 12 months ago.
As of the reporting year 2022, the way in which data for the NEA were collected and processed differs in some respects from previous reporting years. As a result, the figures from 2022 may not be comparable in all cases with the figures up to 2021. More information is available in the NEA 2022 study description (see paragraph 4).
All figures are based on at least 100 observations.
