Workers' accidents at work; industry
Description
This table contains data on accidents at work of the Dutch employee aged 15 to 75, by sectors of activity (SBI 2008). The table presents figures on the share of workers who have suffered an accident at work in the last 12 months and the type of injuries suffered by workers. These include both accidents at work that lead to absenteeism from work and accidents at work without absenteeism at work.
Since 2015, the measurement of accidents at work has improved. An additional check was carried out to determine whether the work accident occurred in the last 12 months. As a result, the share of employees with an occupational accident is slightly lower from 2015.
As of the reporting year 2022, the way in which data for the NEA were collected and processed differs in some respects from previous reporting years. As a result, the figures from 2022 may not be comparable in all cases with the figures up to 2021. More information is available in the NEA 2022 study description (see paragraph 4).
All figures are based on at least 100 observations.

The way in which the injury figures of the most recent accident are compiled is uniform. As a result, the figures for this topic for 2014 may differ slightly from previously published figures.
Confidence intervals have also been added to the table, and the minimum number of observations for publication has been changed from 200 to 100.
