Employed labour force; working outside office hours, 2003-2020
Description
This table contains annual figures on working within or outside working hours of the working workforce. The population aged 15 to 75 (excluding the institutional population) with paid employment is categorised according to their working hours. In the “Worktimes” tab, information is available about whether one is regularly, sometimes or not working at times that are outside office hours. Work outside office hours involves evening work (between 19.00 and 00.00), night work (between 00.00 and 6.00h) or weekend work (working on Saturdays and/or Sundays). In addition, information about shiftwork is also available. The tab ‘Working outside office hours contains information about being regularly, sometimes or not working in the evening, night, Saturday or Sunday. This makes it possible to check whether certain working hours occur at the same time. For example, whether people who work regularly in the evening also work regularly at night. The different groups are further distinguished by gender, by employment and by age, educational level, working time, household position and professional class (BRC 2014).

None, this table has been discontinued.
Changes as of 14 November 2019:
The figures on the level of education in this table have been corrected for the period 2012-2018. This is a correction in the derivation of the level of education of persons who have indicated that they have obtained a diploma abroad with a level similar to the level of vocational education. This group was wrongly awarded the level corresponding to a MBO2 training.
